Résumé
Personal Statement
I’m an audio designer with over 9 years industry experience, including 2.5 years in a Lead position. I have worked on a wide range of titles on a variety of formats.
In addition, I’m also a competent multi-instrumentalist and composer, and have performed extensively all over the world.
My key skills include finding creative and efficient solutions around common development problems, as well as having excellent written and oral communication skills. I’m a passionate and driven individual, with a thirst for new techniques and ideas. Keeping up to date with developments in new audio technologies allows me to apply the latest techniques to ensure the highest fidelity audio experience, while striving to push the boundaries of game audio and any platform limitations.
Moreover, I have a genuine passion for audio and am experienced in both location and studio recording. I am familiar with all the most common audio production suites, and have excellent knowledge of microphone placement, as well as numerous editing, mixing and mastering techniques.
In my current position as Audio Design Lead, I’ve gained valuable experience in the roles and responsibilities expected in a managerial position. This includes liaising with numerous outsource companies, external production, record companies and music licensing executives. Furthermore, I’ve been involved in the scheduling and budgeting of a AAA title, coordinating and providing critical feedback on VO sessions and music composition, as well as learning how to empower fellow team members to stimulate a happier and more productive working environment.
